Early Ming Blue and White Antique Porcelain Jar with Cover

Magnificently decorated, this exceptionally rare porcelain jar was created during the Ming Dynasty. Its base begins with a narrow foot that gives rise to an elegant bamboo fern pattern pointing to the sky. The main figure, framed by two double flawless medallions, presents a captivating stage.

On one side, an exquisitely portrayed Chinese man holding a flower while light winds wave his clothes and hair in the air. Behind the man is a breathtaking sky made up of beautiful clouds with dotted endings that wind around the entire body of the jar until they reach the second figure; a man also with his hair and clothes agitated in the air, but with the particularity of holding a growing flower in one hand and a whip in the other. Above these two are stunning flower patterns surrounding the frames of detailed floral pattern surrounded by curly stems with leaves.

On top of these, passing an attractive neck of rhomboid scrollwork, a straight rim is reached, crowned by a majestic phoenix with its wings wide open as a sign of power and class, among attractive floral patterns and beautiful blossom.
